What’s in a Google PageRank ranking?

October 28, 2007 – 8:46 pm

Google recently revamped or altered or changed its PageRank.  Those that suffered from the change are blogging negatively about it.  Those that didn’t feel a change are probably blogging negatively about it.  I got my first ranking for this domain name, so I like it!  True, I only have a PR or 1, but there must some start. HDMI is better than coaxial or RGB

October 24, 2007 – 5:35 pm

HDMI is better than coaxial or RGBRecently at work we had a Vizio plasma TV installed in the lobby/entry area.  The problems are 1) the Vizio plasma got burn-in after about 30 minutes of being on (ya, really); 2) HDMI cable wasn’t readily available for the length required.  Now I don’t usually take pictures at work and share them, but this is an exception so be prepared to enter my work. Sony Ericsson K850i

October 24, 2007 – 4:45 pm

Ya, I’m still looking for the perfect cell phone.  I’m thinking that this shouldn’t be so difficult a process and I should just do what friends and co-workers do and just buy a phone and then get a new one in 3-6 months so it doesn’t matter if you don’t like it because you don’t have a chance to get use to it before it’s gone.  If only… Read the rest of this entry »

Did I speak with John Chow?

October 23, 2007 – 2:55 pm

Did I speak with John Chow?I received a visitor to my little blog, which I found to be actually somewhat of an Internet celebrity.  Let me explain what an Internet celebrity is in comparison to a movie or TV celebrity.  Movies: Bruce Willis, Matt Damon, Jim Carey, Julia Roberts, etc…; TV: James Woods, Alec Baldwin, Kaley Cuoco, etc…  Now for the Internet. Fire on Old Conejo and Reino Road

October 21, 2007 – 10:31 am

Though this is really nothing compared to the Malibu fire, it was something that I was driving by and thought I would take some pictures.  As I took the pictures, the winds were probably blowing between 3-50 mph. Read the rest of this entry »

Phone reality

October 16, 2007 – 2:31 pm

phone realityI’ve been thinking of getting a new phone.  Right now the decision is whether I should be getting something like the Nokia E70, AT&T 8525, Apple iPhone, or some HTC product.  The truth is that there are so many different devices available that making a decision can be very easy or overly complicated.  I make things difficult though. Titanic watch

October 10, 2007 – 2:58 pm

Titanic watchWhile surfing around the Internet I found a watch that I was sure would be sold out or unavailable by this time.  The watch was announced in the beginning of the year and now, almost near the end of the year, it’s still available.  I think.  I can’t find how to buy one, so maybe it’s just for looks now. Newest Scottrade millionaire

October 9, 2007 – 12:19 pm

Scottrade millionaireI do some stock trading and have a couple accounts in different places.  One place that I have an account is Scottrade, and if they were to follow through with what their website reads, I would open up more accounts there.  The problem appears to be a mathematical one, which I would love to cash in on. Day off of work

October 8, 2007 – 9:36 am

Day off of workI took today off of work.  There’s an appointment that I have in the city I live in, which is too far from my work for a quick drive back and forth during working hours (that’s over a 110 mile commute).  So instead of spending half the day at work, I decided to take a vacation day.  What do I do next?  I’m working remotely. Anderson’s Pea Soup

October 2, 2007 – 3:45 pm

Anderson's Pea SoupI was speaking with a co-worker about something regarding a project we are working on and when he said “Have you ever eaten Anderson’s split pea soup?” For those of you reading this blog outside of California, you can relate to this story; just imagine a restaurant 80+ miles away that is known for one thing.
