The largest manufacturer of laptops, worldwide, is Quanta Computer. You might not have heard of Quanta Computer, but you've heard of their customers, here's a partial list: Apple, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, Matsushita Electric Industrial, and Sony. Where I work there are many opportunities to use electronic equipment. From computers, to network switches and firewalls, to stereos, to printers, to whatever else most people come in contact with in the workplace. I've recently gotten to use a new scanner, at least it's new to me.

There are plenty of sites with plenty of information online. In fact, a proper Google search will yield more information than any team of researchers could use (except for maybe on cancer). This site definitely gives enough information, maybe too much.

I get to see a lot of errors in Outlook on a regular basis. Most of the errors come from users at the company where I work. Some of the errors come from the Asia offices where a majority of the computers are somehow lucky enough to get these errors.

You must hear things like "can I buy a vowel" as a sarcastic statement when someone spells something that seems to have too many consonants and not enough vowels; what would you hear when a simple number is required instead of something crazy like "1.79769e+308"?
