There was news last week that Sony would drop the price of it's original Playstation 3 approximately $100, lowering it to $499. Then even up to late last week Sony was stating there would not be any price cuts.

The largest manufacturer of laptops, worldwide, is Quanta Computer. You might not have heard of Quanta Computer, but you've heard of their customers, here's a partial list: Apple, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, Matsushita Electric Industrial, and Sony. Where I work there are many opportunities to use electronic equipment. From computers, to network switches and firewalls, to stereos, to printers, to whatever else most people come in contact with in the workplace. I've recently gotten to use a new scanner, at least it's new to me.
