Tonight I got one of my favorite dinners. For those of you not aware, Baja Fresh is an above average restaurant. There are many Baja Fresh locations, the food is pretty much the same from local to local, I like dependability.

A family member is interested in getting a new computer (and I’m interested in them buying a new computer). The current computer, a Dell Dimension, is about 5-6 years old. A friend is looking for a cheap laptop. A neighbor is looking for computer deals. This sound familiar? Welcome the $399 laptop!

Since I spend a majority of my days, weeks, and months on a computer, there are few opportunities allocated for watching TV. I watch a few TV shows on a semi-regular basis (thanks to DirecTV’s HR20, I record now and watch later). One of the shows that I am now addicted to is Burn Notice.

Well.. I did a comparison a while ago for comparing DirecTV vs. Adelphia’s Digital Cable. I wound up sticking with DirecTV, this is why…
Perhaps I could have skewed this more toward either direction, but honestly started the comparison for myself in order to decide what I wanted to have for my entertainment service.

I’ve been upgrading most of the displays at work. LCD pricing has come down a lot. Last month the deal was with ViewSonic but this month they are pushing their LCD/TV display (which is priced well, but not what I’m looking for). So I placed an order for several of the Acer 22″ AL2216w LCD monitors.
